The October 4, 2026 build of RPCS3 PS Move focuses on a new round of fixes for motion controls, calibration, and cellGem functions. Furthermore, the package optimizes parts of the RSX and updates the SDL library to 3.4.18.
Among the changes are fixes for drift, orientation, AHRS, sample period, and PS Move reconnection. Furthermore, the emulator implements cellGemSetYaw, expanding the coverage of functions used by applications and games that rely on this path.

RPCS3 PS Move receives calibration fixes
The set of commits attempts to make sensor reading more consistent and fix states that could produce drift or incorrect orientation. In practice, the improvements are of interest mainly to games and applications that use the PlayStation Move more sensitively.

The implementation of cellGemSetYaw complements this work in the cellGem module. So, the emulator now reproduces another PlayStation 3 API function without depending on partial solutions within the emulated application.

RPCS3 PS Move arrives alongside SDL 3.4.18
The current build updates SDL to 3.4.18 and also optimizes RSX-related indices. On the other hand, these changes do not automatically represent an FPS gain in all games, as each title uses the console's subsystems differently.
The Allves Games has already covered the version RPCS3 0.0.43 with Big Picture, collections and trophies. Meanwhile, the October 4 build reflects the continuous flow of commits after that milestone.

Build is part of ongoing development
RPCS3 does not treat each daily build as an isolated final release. Therefore, those who follow the emulator should consider that new fixes can quickly replace parts of this set.
Another recent agenda from Allves Games showed an RPCS3 workaround for NVIDIA graphics cards. Furthermore, that case dealt with driver behavior and should not be confused with the PS Move changes.
Finally, the October 4 build focuses primarily on PS Move, cellGem, RSX, and SDL.
