Infinity Blade 3 on PC has received a community port focused on 64-bit Windows, completing ChAIR's trilogy on computers. The package appeared on the Internet Archive on September 29, 2026, and preserves the complete campaign of the third game, originally released for iOS in 2013. In addition, the version adapts controls, menus, and graphic options for PC use.

The project presents itself as a porting and preservation effort, not as an official commercial release from Epic Games or the former ChAIR Entertainment. The public page states that development is paused indefinitely and that the build still lacks polish. Even so, the available content can be played from beginning to end.

Infinity Blade 3 on PC targets x64 Windows

According to the project page on Internet Archive, the main target is 64-bit Windows. The package includes a custom launcher, used to open the game and configure graphics, controls and other options before execution.

, controls also change compared to iOS. The port accepts mouse and keyboard, allows mapping keys to actions such as dodge, block and strike, and uses mouse movement to reproduce the slashes that, in the original game, depended on touch screen gestures. In addition, the player can navigate menus with the mouse.

, the build offers separate volume controls for music and sound effects. It also allows enabling or disabling dynamic shadows and god rays. Therefore, the port does not only run the original content on another platform: it adds adjustments designed for computers.

, full campaign keeps Siris and Isa

The port preserves both playable protagonists from Infinity Blade III. Siris and Isa retain their own weapons, equipment, and combat styles. The project page also describes the experience as the original version of Infinity Blade III adapted to the PC environment.

Another important point involves saves. The port is able to read unencrypted iOS version saves when the user places them in the folder indicated by the project. The files saved by the game are located in My Games/Infinity Blade III/SwordGame/Cloud, inside the user's documents folder.

However, this compatibility does not mean automatic synchronization with a current iPhone or iPad. The project mentions the manual transfer of unencrypted saves. Therefore, the feature relies on the user already possessing a compatible file.

The report by DSOGaming also highlights that the campaign can be completed from start to finish. The same coverage cites the launcher, mouse and keyboard support, graphics controls, and save transfer as the version's main differentials.

Linux, macOS and Steam Deck use compatibility layers

Windows x64 is the documented native platform for this build. On Linux, macOS and Steam Deck, the scenario changes: the project page itself cites Wine, Proton, Lutris, CrossOver and Parallels as paths used by the community.

Thus, these platforms do not receive dedicated native port executables of their own. On the Steam Deck, for example, execution happens via Proton. On macOS, the community resorts to CrossOver or Parallels. This distinction avoids classifying the package as a native multiplatform port when, in practice, the main binary continues to target Windows.

A report published on Reddit on September 30, 2026 describes the game running on the Steam Deck with Proton Experimental. However, this result represents an individual community test and not a comprehensive official benchmark. Therefore, performance and stability may vary depending on hardware, Proton version and configuration.

And Android and iPhone?

This specific release does not include an Android APK or a new IPA for iPhone or iPad. The main page of the port documents Windows x64 as the target and does not report a minimum version of Android, iOS, or iPadOS for a native mobile build.

On Android, users have already demonstrated the Windows version using tools like Winlator and GameNative. However, this does not turn the executable into a native Android port: it is a compatibility layer for PC software. Furthermore, these community tests do not establish an official minimum requirement for chip, GPU, or system version.

On iOS, Infinity Blade III remains the source game. The new project takes advantage of unencrypted saves from that version, but does not offer a new official installation package for iPhone or iPad. Therefore, the delta of this news is on PC, not in a mobile re-release.

Port should not be confused with traditional emulation

Public documentation calls the work a port and preservation attempt. However, it does not detail the technical pipeline enough to safely classify the project as static recompilation, matching decompilation, or complete engine reimplementation.

Therefore, the most precise term at this moment is community port for Windows x64. It also does not behave like traditional emulation of a complete iOS device, since the goal is to provide an executable version adapted for PC. Even so, without additional technical documentation or public source code, it makes no sense to attribute a specific recompilation technique to the project.

This classification caution is similar to that adopted in other projects covered by Allves Games. The BlueWake for The Wind Waker, for example, explicitly documents the ahead-of-time translation from PowerPC to ARM64. Meanwhile, the GoldenEye 007 port reconstructed code part and exposes a different architecture.

Project takes on a preservation character

Infinity Blade III originally came out in September 2013 for iOS. Afterward, the series left the App Store and lost normal availability on current devices. Thus, the new port positions itself as a community attempt to preserve the third chapter on modern hardware.

At the same time, the person responsible himself warns that the build may still present issues. Development is paused and the current package should not be treated as a final edition, official remaster, or commercial rerelease. The concrete news is different: there is now a public Windows x64 build capable of running through the entire campaign, with controls and settings adapted for PC.

For those who follow ports, recompilations, and preservation, the release closes an important gap for the trilogy on the computer. Even so, future updates, fixes, or technical documentation will be necessary to better clarify the project's architecture and the level of compatibility on each platform.
