The World Is Not Enough received a native PC and Steam Deck version on October 5, 2026, with the project I Could Have Given You The World. Release 0.1.74 recompiles the Nintendo 64 game and offers public packages for Windows and Steam Deck, maintaining the requirement that the user provide their own legally acquired ROM.
The project adds modern features without distributing the game's commercial data. Among them are widescreen and ultrawide support, interpolated rendering for higher frame rates, mouse and twin-stick support, quick save/load, auto-progress, and radial menus for weapons and gadgets.
The World Is Not Enough arrives natively on PC
The proposal follows the line of modern ports via recompilation: the game code is prepared for execution on current hardware, while the assets continue to come from the user's legitimate copy. Thus, the project does not function as a complete package of the original game.
Furthermore, the initial release already offers quality-of-life options. The user can adjust the presentation for widescreen displays, use modern controls, and take advantage of save and load shortcuts that were not part of the original Nintendo 64 experience.

The World Is Not Enough receives modern controls and visuals
Widescreen and ultrawide support is one of the highlights of the native version. In addition, render interpolation aims to present movement at higher frame rates than the original console, while mouse and twin-stick controls bring aiming closer to current standards.
The project also adds quick save/load and auto-progress. At the same time, radial menus streamline weapon and gadget selection, which is especially useful for those playing with modern controllers.

007 port expands the wave of Nintendo 64 recompilations
The World Is Not Enough joins a string of projects bringing Nintendo 64 games to current platforms. At Allves Games, we have already followed the GoldenEye 007 port with a 60 FPS campaign and other native recompilation initiatives.
Release 0.1.74 is the public starting point for this project. Therefore, future versions may still change compatibility, features, and the installation process.
