Perfect Dark Dab's Mod 3.10.0 was released on September 29, 2026 with a round of bug fixes aimed primarily at GE Plus, the package that brings GoldenEye-inspired content to the native Perfect Dark port. The update adjusts six missions, brings visual elements closer to the GoldenEye source material, and fixes issues with the watch, lighting, and skin-switching during levels.
The project is a fork of the Perfect Dark port based on the completed decompilation of the Nintendo 64 game. Therefore, it is neither traditional emulation nor automatic static recompilation. The executable runs natively and reads data from the ROM provided by the user themselves.

Perfect Dark Dab's Mod 3.10.0 fixes GE Plus missions
According to the official changelog, version 3.10.0 focuses almost all of its changes on reports submitted by the testers themselves. The developer cites fixes in the Aztec, Statue Park, Dam, Silo, Control, and Runway missions. Objectives, character behavior, a vehicle, and climbing sections underwent adjustments to more closely match the expected behavior in GoldenEye.
In addition, GE Plus gameplay elements now more closely follow GoldenEye's behavior. The change reduces inconsistencies between the imported content and the original experience the set aims to reproduce.

GoldenEye visuals receive adjustments in native port
The update also tinkers with the presentation. Models, hand, sky, and lighting associated with the GoldenEye material for Xbox Live Arcade have been adjusted to more closely resemble that version. Furthermore, toggling the appearance during a mission no longer breaks the sky, according to the release notes.
The watch received smoother scrolling and a more stable view. At the same time, the first-person presentation was repositioned to be more centralized. These are minor changes when analyzed in isolation, but they directly affect the consistency of GE Plus within the fork.

Dab's Mod goes beyond the original port of Perfect Dark
Dab's Mod keeps the base of the native port, but adds its own features. Among them are jumping, combat rolling, melee combos, third-person camera, free spectator camera, and video recording. The Combat Simulator can also work with up to 80 AI-controlled characters, well above the original limit.
The fork also supports texture and model packs, as well as external mods. Part of this infrastructure allows leveraging materials from the Perfect Dark reissue for Xbox 360 when the user provides the necessary files. Version 3.10.0, however, does not turn these resources into official content or distribute commercial assets.
The Allves Games has already shown another native port linked to GoldenEye 007, which follows a different project. We have also covered the GoldenEye 007 port in virtual reality. Thus, Dab's Mod GE Plus should be understood as an integration within the Perfect Dark port ecosystem, rather than a direct substitute for these projects.
Perfect Dark Dab's Mod 3.10.0 runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS
The project distributes builds for Windows, Linux, Intel macOS, and Apple Silicon macOS. The user must provide their own legally acquired copy of Perfect Dark USA Rev 1. The fork does not include the original game's ROM, stages, models, textures, or dialogue.
On macOS, there is a native ARM64 build for Apple Silicon. On Linux and Windows, the project offers x86-64 executables. The documentation requires an OpenGL 3.0 or OpenGL ES 3.0 compatible GPU. There is no official Android or iOS/iPadOS build of Dab's Mod 3.10.0, nor APK, IPA, App Store, or TestFlight. Therefore, any mobile execution found outside these platforms should not be confused with an official version of this fork.
Update is a true delta over the previous version
Version 3.10.0 does not represent the debut of Dab's Mod. The project had already been adding support for XBLA models, mods, visual improvements, third-person camera, and dozens of extra options. However, the new release brings an independent set of subsequent fixes, especially for GE Plus, and was published on September 29.
Therefore, the relevant delta lies in the maturation of the integration: specific missions received fixes, gameplay elements gained more faithful behavior, and visual issues were resolved. Still, the result remains a community project. Compatibility and behavior may vary depending on mods, optional assets, and computer configuration.
