‎It remaster from Alan Wake will be released later in 2021 for ‎‎PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4/Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X, and is published by ‎‎Epic Games. The title will include the original game and its two expansions, along with 4K visual improvements. Creative director Sam Lake, commented on the news. In an open letter published on the website ‎‎Sudden Stop‎‎, Lake dedicated the remaster to the series' fan base Alan Wake.‎
‎"This is for you," he wrote. "Alan Wake came out over 11 years ago, and throughout that time, you've told us over and over how much you love the game, the story, and the characters. And that means a lot to us. We love this game too."   ‎"The remaster is happening because of your support for Alan Wake over the years. That's why we thought it was appropriate to make this announcement here, on The Sudden Stop, which has been an integral part of the Remedy community since 2012, when it started as an Alan Wake fansite."‎   ‎He added: "Alan Wake Remastered is the original experience you fell in love with all those years ago. We didn't want to change that. But the visuals all around, including Alan Wake's own character model and the cutscenes, have been updated and improved with some next-gen upgrade options."‎
With the original game having been released exclusively for Xbox 360, this will be the first time that Alan Wake will be available to users of PlayStation. In 2019 Remedy acquired the publishing rights to Alan Wake, which until then belonged to Microsoft. Remedy, also a developer of Control, announced in March 2020 that it had signed publishing agreements with Epic Games for its next two unannounced titles.‎ ‎The first project of the deal would be a "multiplatform AAA game," already in pre-production, the company said, while the second was described as a "smaller scale" project set in the same franchise.‎ Jeff Grubb, a reporter for GamesBeat, stated in March that one of the two games would be Alan Wake 2. The studio's creative director, Sam Lake, subsequently revealed that he would like to make a sequel to Alan Wake.‎ Alan Wake Remaster é alvo de vazamento e pode chegar em breve para Xbox, PS4 e PS5 - Windows Club
