The development of the The Last of Us to PS5 remake and The Last of Us 2 multiplayer are almost coming to an end and both projects could be released in the second half of 2022. At least that is what Tom Henderson says. The journalist and well-known insider claims that according to his sources the remake of The Last of Us - Parte 1 would be nearly finished and could therefore hit stores in the second half of 2022. Questioned by one of his followers who asked about the multiplayer of The Last of Us Part II, Henderson said that this project is also in the final phase of production.

According to a job listing recently published by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us 2 s multiplayer may be a free-to-play standalone game with microtransactions. Until now, the studio has maintained maximum confidentiality about the project of which we know little to nothing, except that it will be a "multi-genre cinematic experience". The rumored remake of The Last of Us to PS5, however, has not yet been officially announced, although rumors about it have been numerous in recent months. Tom Henderson has fairly reliable leaks and in the past a good number of his revelations have proven to be correct.
