The Capcom seems to have started teasing the remake of Resident Evil 4, which rumors have been spreading about for quite some time. Today (22), the official Twitter account of the franchise published a mysterious post with the words "4. Itchy. Tasty.".

The most attentive fans soon realized that it was a reference to the Keeper's Diary (Resident Evil 1), who was dying slowly as a result of T-Virus.

What exactly Capcom means by this is still unclear. Perhaps they themselves can no longer wait to officially show the expected Remake of the fourth game in the franchise. With Gamescom 2021 approaching, it is possible that Capcom plans to reveal another reimagining of their games, and this time it would please a large portion of fans, although others find it unnecessary at this moment.  

Resident Evil 4 VR

There is also a higher probability that it is just a reference to the VR version of the game, quickly revealed at the franchise's Showcase on April 15th. The game is scheduled to be released later in 2021, but, initially, only for Oculus Quest 2. New version of the game will support analog controllers Touch, teleportation and room-scale.
